If you searched how to turn on autocorrect in WhatsApp on Android, open the keyboard, not WhatsApp’s settings. WhatsApp is the box you type in. It does not have an autocorrect row on Android.
On most phones the keyboard is Gboard. While it is open, tap the gear, then look for Text correction, Auto-correction, or Spell check. The same place is often Settings → System → Languages → On-screen keyboard → Gboard. Android renames that path. If you do not see the row, this keyboard does not offer it, or a different keyboard is the one actually typing. We cannot flip the switch from here.
We are not WhatsApp Support. An APK that promises “autocorrect for WhatsApp on Android” is not WhatsApp.

The switch is the Android keyboard, usually Gboard, not a WhatsApp menu. Paste a draft into Shmooz if you want the sentence rewritten. We cannot flip the keyboard.
Autocorrect does not rewrite a message. Paste the draft into a separate chat if you want a cleaner line. Shmooz is an AI assistant inside WhatsApp. You send the message yourself. That does not install a spell checker into WhatsApp.

No. The control is on that phone, in the keyboard that is actually selected.
Usually corrections are off for that keyboard, or WhatsApp is using a different keyboard than the one you just changed. There is no second autocorrect switch inside the chat.
No. We do not publish a support number, and we do not unlock a keyboard setting.
