If you searched how do you know if someone listened to your WhatsApp voice message, you want a mark on the note you already sent — not a spy app.
Open the chat and look at that voice note. When they play it inside the conversation, WhatsApp shows a played mark on it. People usually see the microphone icon change. That is the signal. There is no second screen with a clock time, and Shmooz cannot look it up for you.
We are not WhatsApp Support. Apps that promise a hidden “who listened” list are a common way to get an account restricted.

What the mark is, and what it is not
- Played mark on a note you sent — they listened in that chat. Stay on this page.
- Blue ticks on a text — they opened the chat, or read receipts are on. That is not proof they played the audio. See voice notes and blue ticks.
- Can they see that you listened to their note? — the other direction. See can the sender see if you listened.
- No played mark yet — they have not played it in the chat, or you are looking at a different note. Do not treat a notification preview as a play.
Groups
In a group, the chat can show that the note was played. It is not a downloadable attendance sheet, and we cannot pull one. If you need the words of a note you already have, forward it into a separate chat: transcribe a WhatsApp voice note. That does not tell you who played the original.

If their read receipts are off, can I still see that they listened?
Read receipts and a played voice note are not the same switch. A played mark can still show on a voice note after they listen in the chat. We will not promise it is invisible, and we will not promise a timestamp.
Does the microphone turning blue mean they listened?
A changed microphone on the note you sent is the played mark people are looking for. It means the note was played in that chat. It is not a log of every replay.
Can you check a number for me?
No. We only see a voice note you send into this chat. We cannot open someone else’s WhatsApp.
