If you searched how to delete the Meta app from your phone, or uninstall Meta, you mean the app icon on the home screen. You do not mean the Meta AI button inside a WhatsApp chat.
On iPhone, press and hold the Meta, Facebook, or Instagram icon and choose Remove App. On Android, the path is usually Settings, then Apps, then that app, then Uninstall. The name of the row changes by phone. We cannot press it.
Deleting those apps does not remove Meta AI from WhatsApp. It also does not add the button if it was missing. We are not Meta, and we are not WhatsApp Support.

- Turn Meta AI off inside WhatsApp — a different job. The English page stays remove Meta AI. The Arabic page that already gets the visits keeps its title: إزالة ميتا. The Hebrew page stays להסיר מטא AI.
- Download Meta AI onto WhatsApp — there is no file. See download Meta AI. The Meta app from the store does not create the button, and deleting it does not create it either.
- The button is missing, or the chat stays quiet — Meta AI not showing and Meta AI not working. Those titles stay. This is not a second “why” page.
What not to install in order to delete it
An APK, a “Meta remover,” or a stranger’s number will not uninstall the app for you. Do not install one to delete another. We do not publish a download, and we do not publish a support number.

If I delete Facebook, does Meta AI leave WhatsApp?
No. The button inside WhatsApp is not the Facebook icon. Removing the icon does not clear the button, and we cannot clear it from here.
Will uninstalling WhatsApp remove Meta AI?
Reinstalling WhatsApp does not force the button off or on. Do not delete WhatsApp to chase this. Your chats are a separate question, and we do not restore backups.
